Marcelle Abrams, Center Director
My true passion is working with children, sharing my knowledge, and building a team with families and teachers to provide the best possible learning experiences for all our children. I hold a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Teaching Certification from the Cyril Potter College of Education.
I was born and raised in Guyana, South America. I started my career in the field of Early Childhood Education in 1993 as a student teacher. Within a few years, I became a certified kindergarten teacher and taught until 2004, when I immigrated to the United States.
In the U.S., I continued to work in the field of Early Childhood Education as a Preschool Teacher and with hard work I was promoted to Program Coordinator and Assistant Director. In my last few positions, I was honored to lead Teachers as a Child Care Center Director and Program Manager.
I am married with two beautiful children. My son attended Prime Time until he went off to Preschool K4. And still attends for spring break and summer camp. My daughter stated Prime Time at 8 weeks and is currently in the two’s classroom.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.
