Toddlers - 18 months - 2 Years - Walking, talking, socializing, vacillating between independence and dependence, curiosity and energy are marks of toddlers. This group is often messy as they learn to feed themselves, use the potty, and indulge their artistic creativity. We help them learn boundaries and control without squelching their love of life. Although they can't yet sing or read, they love to hear and make music and listen to stories. They enjoy blocks, simple puzzles and manipulative toys. Lessons are introduced. We use a dynamic Curriculum and our own monthly themes. Parents get a monthly newsletter.
2 Year Olds - Rapid independence is sometimes called "terrible twos." With language and motor skills making great leaps, the 2-year-old is simply expressing his/her independence. The curriculum challenges and permits this interactive development. Children learn songs, self-care and sharing. They enjoy dressing up, sand and water play, housekeeping, language and art lessons. We use our monthly thematic curriculum. Teachers send home monthly activity newsletters.
